During this course you'll cover the essential roping and anchor skills you need to safely lead a canyon. keep (or get!) yourself out of trouble in Blue Mountains canyons.  On this 3 day course you'll be learning advanced rope skills like how to set top belays, rescues and hauls, so you can lead groups of less experienced people into canyons. You will practice your new skills on the dry cliffs before bringing it all together in the canyon, putting your new skills into practice negotiating tricky obstacles, assessing anchors and learning how to back-up and test anchors that leave a little to be desired. 

A prerequisite for this course is out Learn to Canyon Course or  Equivalent Experience. If you haven't done our Learn to Canyon Course please call before booking to make sure this course is suitable.
